Well, it’s April 4th and it’s been snowing all day. Not only that, but it snowed yesterday, too. We are not fans of this cruel April Fool’s joke Mother Nature is playing on us–especially since a few weeks ago it was sunny and in the 70s. I know that we live in New England and we should be used to this by now, but it’s starting to get old. While we’ve had a relatively mild winter compared to last year (when we saw 7 feet of snow in less than 4 weeks–yikes!), I really do wish we lived a little farther south some days.
All I can do is look forward to summer plans! In just eleven short weeks, I’ll be headed out west for two very special cat-related conferences. First up is the BlogPaws 2016 conference in Phoenix, Arizona! I’m really looking forward to this one, as it will be my first BlogPaws conference. I think the coolest part of the conference is that it is completely pet-friendly! I won’t be bringing any of the cats, but I really can’t wait to meet all of the furry friends who will be attending! It is sure to be an amazing event at an incredible resort hotel and spa. I’m so excited. After a few days with my BlogPaws peeps, I’m headed to Los Angeles for CatCon! Last year was a whirlwind of cat ears, meeting new and old friends for the first time, and loading up on cat lady paraphernalia. This year, I know so many more of you and I can’t wait to see you all again. I’ll be sure to take lots of pictures, and you know I’ll be live tweeting both events, so if you’re not there in person you can at least follow along with the festivities.
Until then, please send warm and sunny thoughts my way! I’ll see you soon!
We had snow on Saturday. It was not welcomed. Fortunately, it didn’t stick around long. But it’s still cold. We want spring!

I really hope to make it to CatCon as well! I attended last year and loved it. I’m not sure about the logistics this year of leaving Phoenix (my first BP!) and making it to LA without being worn out (driving, not flying). But it certainly was fun! I hope that winter weather goes away!
